PDF export

Charts come out fully drawn in Obsidian's Export to PDF, scaled to the page width.

How it works

When Obsidian exports a note, S-Charts draws each chart again without animation, at twice the screen's pixel density, and places it as an image that fits the page. Charts stay sharp when you zoom in on the PDF.

The export uses the light version of your theme's colours, the same as Obsidian uses for the rest of the page.

Tips

• A chart's height sets its shape. A 300 px chart on a wide screen becomes a short, wide image on an A4 page. Raise height for charts you plan to print.
• Charts from properties export with the data as it was when you exported.
